But it's interesting to see the process. Totally random, but it's too bad I can't wander over there and take a bat to the place and beat the crap out of it, haha. Wouldn't that be amazing? To just release all your stress by beating up an entire house that was doomed for destruction anyway? I've always wanted to do something like that, scary as it sounds. If it's a place that is getting destroyed anyway, it doesn't matter. It's just a huge object to destroy right? Alas, I cannot just go over there and do such a thing, so I can only watch it from my window.
I took a couple of pictures. One yesterday when I came home from school, and one earlier today while they were working. I didn't take any pictures of the house before anything happened to it, unfortunately. I didn't really think about it. Oh well.
This was the one taken yesterday, from the front. My house is on the right.
And here's the one from my window, lol. The bars are where the tarps used to be, I guess to kind of keep everything from going beyond the perimeters.
Right now it's pretty leveled. I believe all they have left to do now is pile everything and take it away, which hopefully might mean it won't be so loud and I might actually get to sleep in! I hope so anyway.
Oh, and I didn't have class today. I don't really know why, but apparently it was a day off. Not that I mind. However, I have an 8-10 page paper due Monday for a class, so I've just been home all day reading. It's okay though. Despite it being prep for a paper, it was rather relaxing. Now to start writing, ugh...
